Thistles affected by chlorosis
Thistles affected by chlorosis
I have been observing a number of plant species over the years, some of whose leaves develop chlorosis, a condition in which leaves produce insufficient chlorophyll. As chlorophyll is responsible for the green colour of leaves, chlorotic leaves are pale, yellow, or yellow-white. The affected plant has little or no ability to manufacture carbohydrates. I have always been wondering what might be causing this.
