Smalley Dam
Smalley Dam
Created in the late 18th century as an ornamental lake or fishpond by John Redford of Smalley Manor. In 1990 the area was presented to the village as an amenity area, and the lake was cleared of silt. Looking towards the dam. The water level appears to be lower than originally intended.
