Never look for stones that have a significance at the height of the bracken season! A friendly sign indicates "Earl of Lettie's Grave 200 m" off the main path up the glen. Search as I did nothing looked out of the ordinary although rocks were prominent or hidden in vegetation. Other images on Geograph in my view prove others failed to find the vital spot. A separate sign referred to Hut Circles and old settlements pointing up the glen, but despite OS recognising that features exist, nothing raised its head above the vegetation. And where was the footpath?
