Carved stone post on the unclassified road from Birstwith to Menwith Hill, Back Road, High Birstwith at jct with Sleights Lane, Birstwith Parish (Harrogate District). Moorland guidestone, the inscription reads: // To F/(?eE/(?)g // To F/Pateley/Bridge /Thrus/cross / E/Darley/+ // To F/Knares/borough //. Probably C18, erected as directed by local magistrates.
