London Bridge is on the left and the building ahead is 20 Fenchurch Street, a commercial skyscraper that takes its name from its address. It has been nicknamed 'The Walkie-Talkie' because of its distinctive shape. It caused great problems when first built because of the angle at which it leans. The sun's rays damaged paintwork on other buildings and melted parts of parked cars which led to its new nickname of Walkie-Scorchie. It has now been fitted with protective sun screens.
