Dyrham Park
Dyrham Park
Dyrham park was built for William Blathwayt in the earlier 18th century, here it is viewed from the east from the road leading down from the entrance on the A46. It's interesting to compared visiting some National Trust properties back in the 1970s and 80s when it was often possible for visitors to park right in front of the house. Visitors numbers and membership has grown over the years and now visitors park near the entrance off the A46 above the valley.
