SK4140 : Allotment and concrete hut

taken 1 year ago, near to Stanley, Derbyshire, Great Britain

Allotment and concrete hut
Allotment and concrete hut
The hut has nothing to do with the allotment it is in fact fenced off from it. To the trained eye, it is immediately identifiable as a platelayer's hut of London and North Eastern Railway origin. The bushes in the background indicate the line of the former Nottingham, Ilkeston and Derby line of the former Great Northern Railway.
