Reed Sweet-grass (Glyceria maxima)
Reed Sweet-grass is a tall plant which can be found growing in shallow water and on marshy ground, where it towers above other grasses and forms large patches around rivers, streams and ponds. Although it can become invasive in some areas, large stands can provide good shelter for all kinds of wetland creatures.
