Church of St Adeline, Little Sodbury
An engraved panel by the door indicates the church's link to William Tydale. It reads:
Built in 1859 from the stones and plan of William Tyndall's little chapel behind Little Sodbury Manor where he heard the call to translate the bible into English in 1529. Martyred 6th October 1536.
"But the word of The Lord endureth for ever"
