NY6828 : Sheep on rock slabs

Sheep on rock slabs
Sheep on rock slabs
Knock Pike is a relatively low hill with a disused quarry of a surprising size on its north side. There are extensive areas of rock slabs in the quarry face upon which the sheep, left of centre, appeared to be 'crag-fast'. But sheep can be adept climbers and after a few minutes of apparently plaintive bleating the animal made its way off the rock with little difficulty.
