Cnoc Coinnich ('mossy knoll') was 'promoted' to the status of a Corbett (a Scottish mountain between 2,500 and 3,000 feet high with a drop of at least 500 feet on all sides) in 2016 when a new survey showed a revised height of 763.5 metres (2,505 feet).

This view takes in the higher mountains near Arrochar, together with part of Loch Lomond and Loch Long, and the village of Arrochar itself on the shore of Loch Long.
