Harewood House viewed from the north. The house is Grade I listed and was built between 1759 and 1771 Edwin Lascelles, 1st Baron Harewood; it was designed by architects John Carr and Robert Adam. The house is still the home of the Lascelles family who are cousins of the Queen. The Queen's aunt, Princess Mary, the Princess Royal, married Henry Lascelles, 6th Earl of Harewood.
