Old packhorse bridge
Old packhorse bridge
Just on the southern outskirts of Woollard is the remains of an old packhorse bridge from the eighteenth century. It has been a vital point for workers travelling down Birchwood Lane to get to the village's many mills. Sadly, it is no longer useable although a new bridge has been built nearby.
