The battle is this way
A traditional Somerset style signpost needs a little attention here and there. However, it also points the way of a battle; the agricultural implements seem to refer to the Pitchfork Rebellion of 1685. The Duke of Monmouth's forces were gathered along the way from many farming backgrounds. The Duke certainly had a temporary headquarters in nearby Keynsham, but there is little evidence that they came this particular way near Woollard.
