Titley Station Entrance
Titley Station Entrance
Titley Junction was once the hub of a network of minor lines radiating to Leominster, Presteigne, New Radnor and Eardisley. Passenger services on these deeply rural routes were withdrawn in stages between 1940 and 1955 although freight continued as far as Kington until 1964. However, the station here together with a short stretch of line towards Kington now operates as a private railway centre; it is not normally open to the public although there are occasional open days.
