SE2436 : Embankment in Bramley Fall woods

taken 1 year ago, near to Horsforth, Leeds, Great Britain

Embankment in Bramley Fall woods
Embankment in Bramley Fall woods
The embankment was presumably to get stone out of the quarries down to either the canal or railway. I can see no evidence on older maps of a railway track here, so probably for either horse-drawn or road vehicles. See also SE2436 : Track - Bramley Fall Park.
