taken 1 year ago, near to Ashchurch, Gloucestershire, Great Britain

Main entrance to Ashchurch railway station
Main entrance to Ashchurch railway station
This entrance from the station car park side is to platform 1 for trains north to Worcester and Malvern.
For southbound trains, the footbridge leads to platform 2 which is also accessed from the A46 via a combined footpath/cycleway.

The name sign on the left shows Ashchurch Station whereas signs on the platforms show Ashchurch for Tewkesbury. The centre of Tewkesbury is about 3km (2 miles) away.

In July 2017, few trains stop here - on average about one every two hours in each direction. Many more trains pass through the station at great speed.
