Bournville railway station (1)
Looking south, towards Redditch and Bristol, from platform 2. The architecture of the platform shelters is typical of suburban stations on this line that were modernised in the early 1980s when the Redditch to Lichfield service was enhanced and branded the Cross City Line. However, their livery is non standard: it is in the house colours of Cadbury's, whose chocolate factory the station serves. The bridge visible at the far end of the station carries Mary Vale Road across the railway.
