Trent Bridge: on the way to a T20 hundred
Nottinghamshire's Alex Hales on his way to 101 as Notts chased down Yorkshire's 223 for 5 and won by five wickets with five balls to spare. This was the sixth-highest run chase of all time in Twenty20 cricket worldwide and the second highest in England.

Four weeks before Hales had scored the highest individual score in a Lord's final as Notts won the Royal London One Day Cup - see TQ2682 : Man-of-the-Match at Lord's.

On the far side of the ground the Radcliffe Road End is being rebuilt. The work will be completed in 2018.
