The Grand in Broad Street
The Grand in Broad Street
One of the prime hotels in Bristol, the Grand Hotel Hotel was designed by Foster and Wood in the Italianate Renaissance style in 1864-9. Originally, the ground floor would have had a number of shops and the
entrance was by a flight of steps up between them to a doorway with a lion sitting in the fanlight.
