Elm Lodge/Sowtons, High Street, Henfield
Elm Lodge is on the left and dates from the early 19th century whilst Sowtons, now occupied by Henfield Furnishings is the tan coloured building beyond which dates from the 17th century and was refronted in the 18th. The passage between the two is known as Caudle Street after the family who lived in the former during the 19th century. The passage links the High Street to Coopers Way.
