Sheepfold above Buckham's Bridge
Taken from the mound above Buckham's Walls Burn NT8210 : Small hut near sheepfold at Buckham's Walls Burn. The natural mound above the sheepfold shows, on its east side, remains of a small rectangular building, about 3m x 7m LinkExternal link

This was subject to an excavation by Coquetdale Community Archaeology in June 2017. Finds included pottery and clay pipes dated to the late 17th century, consistent with the building being a small sheiling. Several pieces of worked flint that may date from the late Neolithic or the early Bronze Age were also found showing man's much earlier interest in the site.
