Queenborough: the seaward end of the High Street - and the Old House at Home
At its western end Queenborough High Street reaches the shore of the Swale. The gap in the wall gives access to the slipway known as The Hard.

'The Old House at Home' is a not uncommon pub name in North Kent. At Queenborough any home-coming sailor has a choice of two pubs within a few yards of the quayside - the other being The Flying Dutchman.
