Clifton Bingo and 48-50 Clifton
Clifton Bingo is housed in a former cinema designed in Art Deco style by Frederick Dyer and which opened in 1937. It became a bingo club in 1964 following closure as a cinema. A full history is given at LinkExternal link.

Next to it is 48-50 Clifton, a mid 19th Century house, which for a while housed a branch of Barclays Bank and has now reverted to housing. Grade II listed - see LinkExternal link.
