Captain Gregory's Vaults, East Street, Ilkeston
Originally the Old Wine Vaults. Captain Gregory was an Ilkeston-born seaman who took over the licence in 1873, adding a large billiards saloon (note the roof lights) in 1879. In recent years it was a night club but has been empty for a few years.

There is a bench mark LinkExternal link on the corner by the road sign.
