Bee hives on heather moorland
Bee hives on heather moorland
The hives are surrounded by bracken but heather moorland lies beyond. The aim is that the bees will produce heather-honey from the heather which is just coming into flower. Bees can be seen as small dots against the sky.
The aerial in the distance is at the Bilsdale transmitter.
