Earlsborough Terrace
Earlsborough Terrace
Late 19th Century/Edwardian terraced housing alongside the River Ouse, the sole surviving such housing of what the 1909 24" map shows as an extensive area covering a number of streets, much of which has now been replaced by Marygate car park or modern terraced housing in Frederic Street (see SE5952 : Frederic Street). Note the flood barriers to protect the properties from high river levels.
