Hare's-foot clover (Trifolium arvense)
Hare's-foot Clover is native to Europe, the Middle East and northern Africa, and a widespread plant of dry grasslands and sandy soils, growing in coastal areas in the UK and across the central and eastern regions of England. The pale pink flowers are covered in soft hairs, which are the distinguishing feature of this clover, giving it the downy look of a hare's or rabbit's paw, hence the common name.
