Link Burn, Caithness
Link Burn, Caithness
The OS Name Book of 1871-1873 says that the burn is, "a small stream which is formed from cut drains. It was at one time a very crooked stream, but of late a new course has been cut for it and the old one filled in - hence its straight appearance".
