Clune Wood stone circle: recumbent and flankers
Clune Wood stone circle: recumbent and flankers
Unlike some neighbouring stone circles such as Cullerlie, Loanhead of Daviot and Easter Aquhorthies, which are well tended and easy to access, Clune Wood is (relatively speaking) wild and inaccessible and overgrown with ferns and heather and is perhaps not too different in appearance from when it was erected some 4500-5000 years ago.
