The last of the Sea Shanty buildings
The last of the Sea Shanty buildings
All along the coast between Branscombe Mouth and this point, lies a scattering of caravans and more substantial semi-permanent 'park homes' - the Sea Shanty Caravan site. These two wooden shacks are the last of them, and the one on the left looks pretty much abandoned to be honest. What's more, you wouldn't want to be sleeping in either of them if a piece of cliff like the one in the foreground fell off above, and rolled down the hillside on a stormy night.
