The Cotswold Way at the A46 (again!) in Painswick
Across the road a Grade II listed lych gate (1901-02) leads to the Grade I listed Church of St Mary (mainly 15th century with 19th century restoration). Painswick is full of old Jurassic 'Cotswold' limestone buildings. It reminds me of Stamford, some 90 miles away at the other end of the Jurassic limestone belt
