St Fagans National History Museum

In 1946 the Earl of Plymouth donated St Fagans Castle and its surrounding grounds for the establishment of an open-air museum. It opened in 1948, originally as the Welsh Folk Museum, and now comprises over 40 buildings from all around Wales representing different historical periods. It is the most visited heritage attraction in Wales.
