Belper: East Mill
In 1897 Strutt's joined a number of other companies to form the English Sewing Cotton Company. In 1912 the new company added the huge East Mill, in vivid Lancashire brick, to the pioneering mills built either side of 1800 by Jedediah Strutt, of which only the North Mill remains.
