Local radio stations provide ball-by-ball commentary on the BBC website as well as hourly radio bulletins. Here journalist Dave Bracegirdle (left) commentates for Radio Nottingham, looking pleased as Alex Hales nears a double century against Derbyshire. The Notts bowler Luke Fletcher's season was ended by a fearsome blow to the head during a Twenty20 match at Edgbaston, but the recuperating Bulwell Bomber is a natural broadcaster, and as an amusing and well-informed expert summariser an amiable foil to Bracegirdle. It couldn't be said you get an entirely impartial view of proceedings from these two though. Or from me.
