NZ7001 : Trough House and Fryup Dale to the north

taken 1 year ago, 3 km from Botton, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Trough House and Fryup Dale to the north
Trough House and Fryup Dale to the north
The heather is only just getting going on the high moor (9th August)
Lower down it is already at peak and a good year (2017) for it after a rather poor show last year.
Best displays are in dry Augusts, the individual tiny blooms open over a period of weeks - they last longer before going brown if not constantly rained on.
