taken 1 year ago, near to Ceres, Fife, Great Britain

Brand's Hotel, Ceres
Brand's Hotel, Ceres
The crow-stepped gable end of this out-building of the former Brand's Hotel. Two date stones appear to indicate 18thC [1776 and 1744], but the Historic Environment Scotland entry refers to 19thC LinkExternal link. It was originally a meal mill, and is adjacent to the Ceres Burn. Much smarter now than when visited by Kim Traynor in 2013 NO4011 : Part of the former Brand's Hotel.
