Trentholme House
Trentholme House
Large house believed to have been built in 1833. It was enlarged and remodelled for the then owner, Edward Brett, in 1897, the work including the moving of the main entrance to the south side of the building, as seen here. Although originally residential, by the 1950s it had been converted to a hotel, The Embassy, and it later housed an antiques business. In the early 2000s it reverted to residential use, having been subdivided into 5 apartments.
