This triangulation pillar is marked on the 1999 revision of OS 1:25000 but not on the 2013 one so I assumed like so much on this coast it had been washed away by the sea. So it was something of a surprise to find it still here. Of the pumping station marked in 1999 a little to the south there is no sign at all.
