NO6249 : Boysack Quarry

taken 1 year ago, near to Boysack, Angus, Great Britain

Boysack Quarry
Boysack Quarry
This quarry exploits the hard whinstone formed by lavas of the Montrose Volcanics. Unfortunately it was deserted. I could easily have walked in and risked the arrival of an irate elfansafety man alerted by the CCTV, but it would probably be someone else who would get into trouble if I did so. So I contented myself with poking the camera through the gate.
