Rock-crushing Machine
Rock-crushing Machine
This strange-looking machine was making its way slowly round the corner. It has no driver's cab, but is controlled remotely by the operator. It had been crushing a pile of stones cleared from adjacent fields (see NO6845 : Rumkemno) for use to improve the farm road from Mains of Auchmithie to Rumkemno. It goes so slowly that it had taken over two hours to get down from the road end to where it was needed.
