Bridgnorth Town Hall
Bridgnorth Town Hall
An early 19th century court room. I have to admit that this creeped me out somewhat given the tyranny of the time when that coat of arms was painted. (Could be an interesting site for Australian genealogists).

It is easy to pass the steps that lead up to the old town hall, but worth looking out for. As well as the well preserved court room, there are some fine late Victorian stained glass, the last survivor of the local carpet industry and the council chamber. Often you can get a quality cup of tea and piece of cake here too.
