Mains of Dyce
Mains of Dyce
Dating from ca. 1835 and possibly the oldest surviving building in Dyce. Note the very steep angles to the gables and the ornate chimneys. 'Mains' in Scottish means the main building of a farm: LinkExternal link so it would be a tautology to call the building 'Mains of Dyce farmhouse'.
