SK4133 : Where do pedestrians and cyclists go?

taken 1 year ago, near to Borrowash, Derbyshire, Great Britain

Where do pedestrians and cyclists go?
Where do pedestrians and cyclists go?
Sign on Borrowash Bridge suggesting that the pavement may only be used by equestrians. All the other signs on the narrow section of road adjacent to the bridge carry the standard pedestrian+cyclists roundel as well, but there is no evidence for there having been a second sign on this particular pole.
The old LinkExternal link and new LinkExternal link plaques commemorating the opening of the bridge can be made out on the left hand parapet, either side of the pole.
