SO2514 : Heol-Yr-Allt Bridge - No 101

Heol-Yr-Allt Bridge - No 101
Heol-Yr-Allt Bridge - No 101
The simple Georgian elegance of the Mon and Brec bridges shown here at Heol-Yr-Allt. The vertical pole once had a large triangular weight restriction sign, itself a huge chunk of cast iron, installed by the Great Western railway after 1880 and now very collectable. An example is to be seen on the wharf at Govilon.
