NT5234 : Tweedbank railway station

taken 1 year ago, near to Tweedbank, Scottish Borders, Great Britain

Tweedbank railway station
Tweedbank railway station
Built on the route of the mid-nineteenth century 'Waverley Route' line, which originally ran from Edinburgh to Carlisle, but was closed in 1969. The line as far as Tweedbank was re-opened in 2015. The car park (FREE PARKING! - this must be Scotland) was full, presumably with commuters to Edinburgh.
