This steel, serpent-like, cable-stayed bridge was built in 2000 by Alfred McAlpine to a design by W.S. Atkins plc (now part of the SNC-Lavalin Group). It carries pedestrians and cyclists across the Floating Harbour from here - i.e. Glass Wharf - towards Temple Meads Railway Station.
