NS4482 : Old embankment beside the Gallangad Burn

taken 1 year ago, near to Blairquhomrie, West Dunbartonshire, Great Britain

Old embankment beside the Gallangad Burn
Old embankment beside the Gallangad Burn
For a view of the burn itself, taken just downstream from here, see NS4482 : The Gallangad Burn.

The present picture shows an old, stone-built embankment on the northern side of the burn, immediately downstream from a waterfall called NS4482 : The Lady Linn. Going by its condition and its general appearance, I take the embankment to date from the nineteenth century.
