Steps down to the Close

A steep bank - almost a cliff- drops down from Hanover Street to the Close opposite the Copthorne Hotel. It is a totally unkempt wilderness of trees and undergrowth, although a partly overgrown flight of steps does climb down through it to the lower street level.
