A modern (2004) replacement for the original buildings of the North Eastern Railway. See NU2311 : Alnmouth railway station for the original buildings in 1969.
Alnmouth for Alnwick station

The station, situated by the village of Hipsburn, has had several names: Bilton when opened in 1847, Bilton Junction after the opening of the Alnwick branch in 1850, Alnmouth from 1892, and Alnmouth for Alnwick from 2003.

A modernisation of the station was completed in 2004 with a new single-storey station building, rebuilt platforms, cycle parking and other facilities.
